Leon, I fish the entire state of NJ and that Absecon inlet is one of the best...I`m going to make it out there once a year to try for that trophy Striper.
Is the T Jetty a pay for access spot? Open year round? Night? Was wondering if there is any action in the colder months for mackerel, herring or squid?
Are there lights? Can one drop a fishing light down to the water? Or is it too high up?
I fished the T jetty today for a couple of hours, the fishing was very slow but I did manage one skate that put
up a decent fight. All the guys I spoke to were striking out.
Where you going after skate that day? Do you keep them or throw 'em back? I like skate wing; both pan-fried and batter fried!
I wasn't fishing for skate but that was the only fish I got that day.
I haven't tried skate wings yet but I hear they are delicious and I will give them a try soon.
Skate and dogfish I have yet to try but I hear they are both very good.
